Our version uses the cleanest organic ingredients, stays gluten-free, and avoids corn wherever we can. The original is shown exactly as the creator posted it.

tbsp portions

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp organic chili powder (no anti-caking agents)
  • 3 tsp organic ground cumin
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp organic pepper
  • 1 tsp organic paprika
  • 1/2 tsp organic garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp organic onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp organic dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp organic red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Method

  1. Put everything in an airtight container and shake until it is evenly mixed.
  2. Use 2 tbsp per pound of meat, the same as one store packet.

What we changed and why

  • Some chili powder blends contain anti-caking agents.
  • Iodized table salt usually contains corn-derived dextrose. Sea salt does not.
