Our version uses the cleanest organic ingredients, stays gluten-free, and avoids corn wherever we can. The original is shown exactly as the creator posted it.

servings (5 nuggets)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb organic pasture-raised ground chicken
  • 2 cups finely grated or chopped organic sweet potato (1 medium-large)
  • 2 tbsp organic tapioca flour or arrowroot starch
  • 1 1/2 tsp organic onion powder
  • 1 tsp each organic paprika, organic garlic powder, and kosher salt

Method

  1. Mix everything well, form into nuggets, and air fry; they also cook from frozen, so a double batch works as freezer nuggets. 20g protein and 15g net carbs per serving.

What we changed and why

  • Dropped the cornstarch option to stay corn-free.
  • Iodized table salt usually contains corn-derived dextrose; sea salt avoids it.
