Our version uses the cleanest organic ingredients, stays gluten-free, and avoids corn wherever we can. The original is shown exactly as the creator posted it.

brownies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup organic sweet potato
  • 3/4 cup organic almond butter
  • 1/3 cup organic raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup pure organic maple syrup
  • Optional: organic dark chocolate chips (corn-free, cane sugar)

Method

  1. Combine everything in a baking dish and bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.

What we changed and why

  • Cook and mash the sweet potato before you measure it.
  • Some chips use corn-derived dextrose or vanillin, so read the label.

Items marked "check" need a quick label read: corn hides in starches, dextrose, and vinegar.
