Our version uses the cleanest organic ingredients, stays gluten-free, and avoids corn wherever we can. The original is shown exactly as the creator posted it.

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen organic bananas (brown and spotty for sweetness)
  • 3 tbsp organic creamy peanut butter (just peanuts and salt)
  • 1 1/2 cups organic chocolate chips (corn-free, cane sugar)
  • 2 tbsp organic virgin coconut oil

Method

  1. Blend the frozen bananas and peanut butter until completely creamy.
  2. Spread into a parchment-lined loaf pan and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  3. Cut into squares and put them back in the freezer.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second bursts. Coat each square and freeze 30 minutes more to set.

What we changed and why

  • Some chips use corn-derived dextrose or vanillin, so read the label.

Items marked "check" need a quick label read: corn hides in starches, dextrose, and vinegar.
